Figs, prosciutto, and cheese are a delicious combination. You can translate this dish into a salad or as a topping for a pizza and the goat cheese can easily be substituted for blue cheese.
FIRST If using large figs, slice in half length wise (for smaller figs slice from the bottom almost to the stem, but no all the way through). Stuff each fig half with 1 teaspoon of goat cheese.
LAST Wrap a strip of prosciutto around each fig, arrange on platter and drizzle with honey, balsamic, and cracked pepper before serving.
