HONEY GLAZED SALMON

  • PREP TIME: 5 minutes + marinate
  • COOK TIME: 10-15 minutes
  • YIELDS: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (found in Asian section of market)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 scallion, chopped
  • 4 – 8 ounce salmon fillets

The sweetness of the honey is a perfect compliment to this Asian inspired salmon.

Instructions

FIRST Preheat oven to 450°F. In a small bowl combine orange juice, Hoisin, honey, and scallion. Place salmon in a glass baking dish coated with cooking spray. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle half of sauce over fish. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.

NEXT Bake salmon on top rack of oven for 10 minutes or until almost done. Just before the salmon is cooked through switch oven to broil and continue cooking for about 3 minutes until done to your liking and edges of fish begin to caramelize.

LAST Drizzle salmon with remaining sauce and serve.
